7 Days of Creation: Day 4 Order

Rylee continues his new series breaking down lessons we can learn as entrepreneurs by reading the creation story in Genesis. In this episode Rylee discusses order.God gave us the most basic tracking system that everyone on planet earth utilizes on Day 4 of Creation and that was the sun, moon, and stars. They allow us to track time, days, seasons, and even location.  In business, tracking and analyzing metrics are critical to long term success.  I said last week that on Day 3 of Creation (Structure), God gave us the playbook, and now we have Day 4 (Order), and how we run that playbook with measurables in place to determine whether or not those plays are working.  I think of how metrics and analytics in the world of sports now dominate coaches' gameplans.  You might think metrics are greatly emphasized more now because of newer technology, but it’s remarkable to think that metrics and measurables were on God’s mind all the way back in the beginning of time.    Most of us in the King’s Council wear Whoop Bands.  These bands track HRV, strain, recovery, and many measurables when it comes to sleep.  They collect data, measure the data, then based on that data we can alter one or more of our controllables like sleep, diet, hydration, environment, etc. to attain desired results.Whether it’s operational or financial metrics in business, data that tells a baseball manager to take out his ace even though he only threw 80 pitches, or information on a Whoop Band that says you best get to sleep a bit earlier than normal based on last night’s numbers, remember God created these systems of tracking and measurables a long time ago for life on earth to be as efficient as it is!—The King’s Council’s mission is to help you discover and deploy your God-given talents.
