7 Deadly Sins | PRIDE

Preached by Joshua Lewis Pride is more than arrogance or thinking too highly of yourself. It is the deep human temptation to put ourselves in the seat of authority that belongs to God and say, “I know better.” In this message, we look at Genesis 3 and trace how Pride questions God’s Word, doubts his goodness, redefines what is good, and quietly reshapes the way we see God, ourselves, other people, and our own desires. But the way forward is not simply trying harder to be less proud. In Jesus, we see a completely different way of living: humility, obedience, service, and the freedom to let God be God.
