7) Dearest Diamond, "SPEAK UP!"

from Dearest Diamond (A Diamond's Memoir) · host Diamond Patrick-Udoh

It's another Wednesday and it is Dearest Diamond O'clock. This week, Diamond is inspired to share an episode inspired by words from a video on Adaora Lumina Mbelu's (Author, Podcaster, Purpose and Productivity Coach) Instagram page were she addressed  toxic friendships that result from assumptions and trying to tests peoples loyalty off of things we are not even certain of. In this week's episode, Diamond is urging us all to SPEAK UP. Speak up about the things that matter to you, speak up about who you are, what you want and what you expect from people.  She stresses on the fact that nobody can really read anyone's mind and so for anyone to be in tune with your emotions, or feelings or state of mind, you would have had to tell them, you would have to speak up. Dearest Diamond shares personal experiences about situations where she spoke up about what bothered her and how even though the situation might not have been properly dealt with, it definitely felt good to have aired her mind about it especially as compared to her memory of how she felt in situations where she expected people to read her mind and they obviously could not. Please listen and subscribe to Dearest Diamond on Apple, Google, Spotify and other podcasting platforms. Also don't forget to  follow @dearest.diamond on Instagram and share the good news. Love, D
