7. Divine Appointments
from The Pineapple Story Series Hosted by Otto Koning
“Because He had seen heaven.” With these words at the conclusion of his message, Otto Koning details how Christ’s focus on the things of eternity enabled Him to make the most of His short time on earth. Throughout His daily walk He was able to see His heavenly Father turning circumstances into discipleship opportunities: “divine appointments”. As a believer—or even a missionary—you will benefit from the reminder that people are one of the few things that will last forever. Mr. Koning’s wealth of testimonies from New Guinea, as well as Java, Indonesia, will open your eyes to the value God places on the contacts and relationships He has entrusted to you. May his perspective be a lasting motivation for us to invest our time and resources wisely, and share in the joy of discovering what it means to lay up treasures in heaven. Scripture references: Exodus 20:17, Matthew 6:33, Acts 8:26, 1 Timothy 2:4 Transcript options: Read along on website Download PDF file Download TXT file
