Referindo-se a si mesmo, Jesus disse: “Eu sou o caminho, a verdade, e a vida” (João 14:6). Quem ousaria fazer tal declaração? Só Jesus é o verdadeiro Deus que poderia se descrever assim. Aqueles que creem na Palavra da remissão de pecados que Jesus nos deu podem ser libertos de todos os seus pecados e ter uma nova vida. Já que não tínhamos como evitar ser amaldiçoados e condenados pelos nossos pecados, o Senhor se tornou nosso verdadeiro Salvador. Por isso, não temos outra coisa a fazer senão sermos muito gratos a ele. Todos estavam destinados a sofrer com a terrível ira de Deus por causa dos seus pecados. Mas e você? Você já teve um encontro com o Salvador que te livrou de todos os seus pecados?
