7 Kingdom Evers

7 Kingdom Evers Message Summary This message emphasizes that God has given His people something more valuable than silver, gold, or any earthly treasure: the wisdom and truth of His Word. Proverbs 22:17–21 reveals that the purpose of receiving God's instruction is to establish our trust in Him, transform the way we live, and equip us to share His truth with others. Using Caleb's testimony in Joshua 14 (Numbers 13-14), the message illustrates the importance of having an "ever-since moment"—a defining encounter with God's Word that produces enduring faith. Forty-five years after God made His promise, Caleb was still trusting, waiting, and ready to act upon what the Lord had spoken. His confidence was not in his circumstances or personal strength but in the faithfulness of God. From Proverbs 22:17–21, the message identifies seven enduring characteristics that should continually shape the lives of God's redeemed people. The Seven Kingdom Evers • Ever Leaning: Trust the Lord wholeheartedly rather than depending upon our own understanding. Everything we learn should deepen our dependence upon Jesus. • Ever Learning: Remain teachable throughout life, continually growing in the knowledge and application of God's truth. • Ever Listening: Keep our ears attentive to God's instruction. When we stop listening to His Word, we begin drifting from wisdom. • Ever Longing: Cultivate an appetite for God's Word, recognizing that His wisdom nourishes and sustains our spiritual lives. • Ever Loving: Treasure God's truth as more valuable than earthly riches, allowing our affection for His Word to shape our love for others. • Ever Living: Put God's instruction into practice.
