7. The Streets of Laredo (S31E36)

Is this the premiere episode of Season 32? Or the belated finale of Season 31? According to K$ sources it's the belated finale which is...odd, but also very on brand for the "we do what we want when we wanna" attitude that Dateline has earned over the last 30 years of being the best. This episode is called "The Streets of Laredo," and as JMank will tell you authors write scary stories about murders on suburban streets that Dateline also covers. The point is, the Mank sells it. Sit back and listen as Kateline takes some SCOLDING HOT SHOTS at the quality of this episode and the valiant Kurt Money comes to the show's defense as always. Also, Kurt Money would like to apologize to The 'Burbs, Joe Dante and to those in the know who celebrate TBITBOAT* that he is incredibly sorry for failing to figure out until just now as he writes these words you read that hes sounding out with his lips: the clear connection between this episode of Dateline and the greatest film of all time, The 'Burbs, is that murder comes to roost in your typical American suburb.
