7. The Three Caballeros
from Of Mice & Princesses Hosted by Anni
Bascha is here, we're having a ton of fun and we're talking about Latin America. Sounds like last episode? Well, almost. This time we break down The Three Caballeros, the continuation of Disney's Good Neighbour project during WWII. Also, we talk about Bascha's irrational attachment to boats, once again try to crack Disney's 4-finger/5-finger code and discover the shocking fate of the Aracuan bird, while Donald wants to... "party"...Yikes. Find us on Instagram and Facebook to leave a message or review, it would be greatly appreciated :) And since this topic is just as relevant as it was weeks ago, even if people aren't posting black squares on instagram anymore, here are some resources to turn to, to educate yourself and support the BLM movement: https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/ - The most common and helpful place to turn to https://blog.govolunteer.com/8-tipps-wie-du-dich-gegen-rassismus-engagieren-kannst/ - A very helpful guide for our German listeners https://www.amadeu-antonio-stiftung.de/was-wir-gegen-rassismus-tun-koennen-58741/ - A great German foundation to support that not only strives to fight racism, but also has some other projects to battle e.g. gender inequality and support victims of hate crimes.
