#7: Vernadette Broyles - Child and Parental RIGHTS are under attack
from Unmasking Government Schools with Sheri Few · host USPIE: U.S. Parents Involved in Education
Today, I’m joined by Vernadette Broyles, who’s the President, General Counsel, and founder of the Child and Parental Rights Campaign. Vernadette has a lot of experience in family law. She’s been a Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for kids in court, and she’s passionate about protecting student privacy, parental rights, and Title IX in public schools. She brings a sharp understanding of the legislative process, along with a solid background in science and research. Vernadette graduated with honors from Yale with a biology degree and went on to earn her law degree from Harvard Law School. She’s worked as a commercial litigator and served as a state prosecutor in Fulton County, Georgia. Before law school, she even spent time in neuro-pharmaceutical research. Governor Sonny Perdue appointed her to the Georgia Department of Human Services State Board for five years, where she co-chaired the Family and Children Services Committee and gained deep insights into child protective services.
