#70 - Edwin Martin - He Was Ready to Die, Then a 3-Word Text Changed Everything

Edwin Martin is a 25-year-old ultra-endurance athlete and faith-driven creator from Charleston, South Carolina. At 21, he was on his bathroom floor, ready to end it all after years of addiction and emptiness. A friend’s text saying “I love you” stopped him. That moment, plus later losses of friends, eventually led him to Jesus and to running. What began as a guy who couldn’t finish a mile, became a 2:50 marathon, an Ironman on a torn Achilles, 30 half-marathons in 30 days, a run across THE ENTIRE STATE of South Carolina, a 100-mile track win, and 133 miles in 24 hours on a treadmill to honor and raise money for mental-health awareness. His message is simple: Jesus loves you. Keep going. Your story isn’t over. He runs so someone else might decide theirs isn’t either.
