70. Hilary McAllister: For Wild Places

from The Stronger Stride Podcast · host Stronger Stride

Ep. 70 - Hilary McAllister: For Wild Places Hilary McAllister; trail runner, sports activist, and CEO of For Wild Places (FWP). In this Ep we learnt all about the not-for-profit For Wild Places and how we as runners can be a part of protecting our favourite trails.  FWP leads the running community into immediate action to protect places of environmental and cultural significance. Earlier this year FWP held the inaugural Pilliga ultra which raised over $100k and this is just the start of some of the incredible work they are doing. Hilary talked us through the projects she’s working on for 2023 and the impact FWP has already achieved. We learnt a lot about the urgency of protecting our wild places, and felt empowered by Hilary's stories.  As runners we have a voice and together we can make real impact.
