-John Vargo joined O2X as an Account Executive coming off a 20-year career as an Engineer Paramedic with Chandler (AZ) Fire Department-His contributions to the department while an active-duty member included serving as an IAFF Union Representative, an Apparatus Committee Member and cofounding the Chandler Fire Fighter Athletic Association, a nonprofit organization raising funds to support fire department personnel traveling across the world to compete in the World Police and Fire Games.-After retiring from the fire department, he formed Turn In, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that introduces first responders to meditation and performance through mindfulness. He has been a keynote speaker addressing first responder mental wellness for various state and city agencies across the country and became an mPEAK certified instructor through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness-He currently leverages his tactical experience, business and leadership background, and subject matter expertise to implement comprehensive performance programs into agencies in the Western United States.
