70: The 4th Of America

from The Tangent

It's America's Independence Day (or Earth's since 1996) and there is no better way to spend it then to listen to this week's Tangent. Like any good celebration there are also a few surprises... First off, Gary heads back to Halo 5 to check out the Warzone Firefight mode, yet he can't find his 'BR'. Overwatch competitive play is now on the Xbox One, so he also takes a look at that. He finds himself really appreciating playing offense and defense in the same match. He also found the time to Stick of Truth and was surprised at the hardcore RPG elements that are present in the game. Gary's final game is the Limbo sequel, Inside. Brian jumps in on the discussion, and they both agree it would be the perfect "Justin Game". Brian's still on a Doom kick and he's in Hell. Calls it "fun", and was surprised to find it littered with Demons. Who would have guessed? Next up is Anthony, and he's got more Witcher 3. He's level 14 and looking for the Bard. Can't say I understand what that means, I'll assume it's good. He also checked out the Monster Hunter Demo where there was something about mounting monsters that Justin couldn't handle. Speaking of Justin, he basically played nothing. He blew an Overwatch match for his team and he's back in a Fallout kick. We're all overjoyed for that. For the news: we've got nurf's in Overwatch on the consoles, games for PS2 that can't be seen, Nintendo hush, hush on the NX, and a listener question.   The Drunken Show Notes: Overwatch's Torbjorn Will Be Nerfed To Bring Better Balance Cancelled Daredevil Open World Game Gameplay Surfaces Miyamoto says Nintendo is keeping quiet on NX due to a certain "idea" Fallout 4 Beta For PS4 Mods Delayed Street Fighter V Cinematic Story Mode Hits PSN Early BioShock: The Collection Officially Confirmed, Release Date and Trailer Revealed Creep us on Facebook Stalk us on Twitter Or throw us that review on iTunes or Stitcher Questions, comments, concerns?
