from Breast Cancer Conversations · host SurvivingBreastCancer.org

Love the podcast? Send us a text! What should you expect when going to the hospital during COVID-19? This is a question that comes up in often, especially amongst those of us diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite treatments being postponed or delayed, there are still a handful of breast cancer survivors and thrivers that go into the hospital for various reasons. For Example, chemotherapy that cannot be delayed; surgery, or a lupron shot. For some, it's because that is where they work! In today's episode, we speak with ICU nurse and breast cancer warrior, Liz M. She takes us on the inside of what it is like working at a major medical hospital during COVID and how work was the safest place to be.  Towards the end of the episode, I share my personal experience of what it was like to be tested for COVID 24 hours prior to my oncology appointment. _________________________Say Hi on Social:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/SURVIVINGBREASTCANCERFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/SurvivingbreastcancerorgPinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/BreastCancerConversations/Twitter: https://twitter.com/SBC_org Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/survivingbreastcancerorg/_________________________Subscribe to our newsletter https://www.survivingbreastcancer.org/subscribe-1Donate to our cause https://tinyurl.com/yc9cgt4eAttend an event https://www.survivingbreastcancer.org/events Support the showListener FeedbackIf this episode resonated with you, we invite you to leave a review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. You can also click the link in the show notes that says "Love this episode?
