71 - Mind-Blowing Evidence to Enhance Your Confidence in Christianity, with J. Warner Wallace

Whether you're a believer or a skeptic, this episode is not to be missed! What evidence is there that Christianity is true? As it turns out, quite. a. lot.  Discovering the evidence for Christianity (and again, there is a lot of it) can have a profound impact on the confidence of believers. How many of us have had our belief strengthened by learning, for example, that archaeology corroborates the accounts of the Bible, or that the universe is unbelievably fine-tuned to support human life?  And while only God can change a sinner’s heart and mind, he is free to use (and frequently does use) the abundant evidence that exists as part of the process of bringing someone to saving faith. It was true for C. S. Lewis, and it was true in the personal testimony of my guest in this episode, J. Warner (“Jim”) Wallace. In this amazing interview, Jim explains why the early dating of the Gospels and Acts are so important for demonstrating the reliability of their accounts, and therefore for the reliability of the Christian message.  Jim also gives epic advice on how to respond when someone objects that, “Sure, maybe Jesus rose from the dead, but that doesn’t mean he’s God,” as well as, “That may be your truth, but I have my truth” (an appeal to subjectivity).
