71: Overcoming Scale Drama
from The Christian Health Club Podcast · host The Christian Nutritionist
I recently listened in on a call where a life coach was coaching a woman through her scale drama. The woman had seemingly gained 2 pounds overnight. She let this scale number mean all sorts of things - that she was a failure, that she would never reach her goal, that she might as well eat all of the chocolate in the house because nothing was going to work for her anyway.Y’all, scales can make us lose our everlivin’ minds. We let a piece of plastic dictate our self-worth and the trajectory of our day. Normally I tell people to steer clear of the scale and focus on non-scale victories, but this life coach has another approach. She recommends getting on it every day - not to manage your weight, but to manage your mind. For more information and to access the show notes for this episode, visit my website here: https://www.thechristiannutritionist.com/podcast/71Coming Up This Fall: SEPTEMBER 🏡 A Woman of Order 🌿 CellCore Foundational Detox BeginsOCTOBER 🧠 Self Coaching Christians 📚 Cohort 7 Begins - The School of Christian Health & NutritionNOVEMBER 🍽️ Feast 2 Fast® Holiday⏰Feast 2 Fast® Coach Training
