#71 with Entrepreneur & Investor Amol Sarva

from On the Way to New Work - Der Podcast über neue Arbeit · host Michael Trautmann & Christoph Magnussen

Amol Sarva is an entrepreneur from New York who started Virgin Mobile and introduced the concept of mobile virtual network operators in the United States. He also has a Ph.D in Philosophy and is involved with more than 100 other companies. One of these companies is Halo Neuroscience, which has developed a neurostimulation technique that enhances cognitive function and improves muscle movement. What impressed me the most was the immense breadth of his interests - from smartphones to neurostimulation, coworking spaces, blockchain, construction and more. He is in constant communication with people who provide input, new ideas and knowledge. He achieves all this by using emails and meetings as tools, which should be used as little as possible to keep the stream of information as clean as possible. He also tries to say yes to every opportunity that presents itself, then creates tangible progress which can be something as small as a first website, so that when he comes back to it he has a starting point again; as long as there is progress, he will pursue the opportunity surrounding it. If you think you are able to get lots of things done, prepare to be amazed by Amol.
