#727: September Bears [Podcast] - Audio
from Speaking 4 Him Hosted by Andrew Gommesen
On Today's show, I sit down with Bob Karel, director of September Bears, opening at Master Arts Theater on September 11th. Bob shares the heart behind this moving, true‑story production that highlights one teacher's incredible response to the events of 9/11. As it expanded to her church, their compassion, courage, and willingness to serve became a powerful testimony of faith in action during one of America’s darkest moments. The conversation explores how September Bears depicts believers as the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing comfort and hope when tragedy strikes. Bob reflects on the impact this church made simply by choosing to love well and step forward when others stepped back. This interview will inspire you—and the play will move you. Listen, and then come see this powerful production. Get your tickets now! https://masterarts.ludus.com/index.php?sections=events
