73 - All the Twenties

from Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast · host Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

As we enter 2020, having scored 20 goals, Cherries sit in the Premier League's relegation zone on 20 points - and after a poor showing against West Ham at the London Stadium, Bournemouth fans were looking for something to cheer about as we welcomed Luton Town to the Vitality Stadium in an FA Cup Third Round tie. Thankfully, after the 4-0 drubbing at the hands of the Iron, the scoreline at Dean Court was a reverse, and we came out 4-0 winners courtesy of Phillip Billing (2), Callum Wilson, and Dominic Solanke - in a much needed confidence booster that can hopefully provide a lot of momentum. In this show, Sam Davis is joined by Neil Dawson to discuss both games, the general feeling at AFC Bournemouth, plus we looking forward to the forthcoming Watford game, with Eddie Howe's men looking to maintain some kind of rhythm and start to garner some much needed points. There's a lot of on the agenda - as we take in Cherries fans opinions submitted via email and Whatsapp, and plus we play a bit of raw match audio from the weekend too. Back of the Net is an unofficial podcast dedicated to the highs and lows of AFC Bournemouth. We engage and entertain over 5,000 Cherries fans every week via our pod & Youtube.
