Em seu terceiro 'future', obteve duas vitórias em Recife e voltará assim a figurar no ranking mundial. Zormann foi um juvenil de grande destaque, tendo vencido o torneio de duplas de Wimbledon da categoria ao lado de Orlando Luz. Na transição ao profissional, chegou a ficar entre os 500 primeiros até decidir pelo afastamento em 2018. Na entrevista ao editor José Nilton Dalcim, Zormann fala da depressão, das dificuldades no retorno ao nível competitivo e se mostra muito animado.
