7'3 Italian Giant Joins Villanova

Seven-foot-three Italian giant Luigi Suigo, once projected as a top-30 NBA Draft pick, pulled out of the 2026 draft to join Villanova for the 2026-27 season. With jaw-dropping combine stats—7’3” and 289 pounds—he brings pro experience from the Adriatic League, averaging 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds. Villanova, already eyeing Nico Onyekwere as their center, now gets a shot-blocking force with international flair. His college debut? Back in Italy, facing Notre Dame in Rome—a fitting, dramatic start to his US college career. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
