He lives in New York and is the founder of wealth management company Mitlin Financial Inc.He is an Investopedia Top Ten Advisor for 2022, he hosts the Mitlin Money Mindset™ podcast and he spent over 12 years on the National Board for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.In 2004 Lawrence lost his brother-in-law Keith to suicide. He reacted by turning his sadness into a mission to raise awareness for mental health.
