Que ce soit sur scène ou au niveau de l’écriture, le théâtre français est encore largement imprégné d’une idéologie discriminatoire à l’égard des personnes racisées. Malgré les nombreux débats actuels sur la “diversité” au théâtre et dans la culture de manière générale, la représentation des corps noirs sur les planches reste imprégnée d’un imaginaire colonial et les jeunes auteur·rices non-blanc·hes voient encore leur créativité entravée par des attentes stéréotypées. Par quels mécanismes certain·es comédien·nes issu·es des minorités continuent à avoir des difficultés à monter sur scène ? À quels biais de représentation sont soumis·es les personnes racisées dans l’écriture des pièces ? Comment s’engager pour une meilleure pluralité au théâtre ?Pour en parler, Rokhaya Diallo et Grace Ly reçoivent Penda Diouf, autrice de théâtre et librettiste, pour un épisode enregistré en live à la MC93 (Bobigny) dans le cadre de la manifestation culturelle “Territoires en mouvement”.
