畫說漢字/圖解《說文解字》/1000個漢字的故事/東漢許慎原著蝉（chán）“蝉”是个象形字，本义就是指“知了”这种生物。甲骨文的“蝉”字，字形就像是一只知了的形状，上面是头部，下面是身体，两侧还有一对翅膀。小篆的“蝉”，变成了形声字，左边的“虫”表示形旁，表明“知了”是一种昆虫，右边的“单”代表声旁。“蝉”字的本义一直沿用至今。现在人们常常用“金蝉脱壳”这个词语来形容一个人巧妙地脱身逃遁，而使对方不能及时发觉。（夏日里第一声蝉鸣，唤醒了孩子的童年和成年人的尘梦。）
