Casey Taylor, the founder and managing director of Taylored Property Wealth, dreamed for many years of starting his own business. At age 11, Casey watched his parents build their family home and fell in love with property. Casey tells Buyer’s Agent Institute founder Ben Handler he contemplated becoming an architect, but his property dream evolved into building his own property portfolio so he could have a passive income stream for retirement. Casey always had a strong work ethic, starting from when he had his first job collecting eggs as a teenager. Self-improvement and being healthy is equally important to him. He finds going down to the beach for a swim or a walk more rewarding than owning a flashy car. Casey says focusing on becoming a better version of himself lets him deliver at higher levels. As a buyer’s agent, Casey felt like an imposter at first. Over time, he gained more experience and delivered consistent results which helped build his confidence. Casey loves the flexibility of being his own boss, engaging with clients and following his passion.
