Clare was first appointed to the Shadow Ministry in 2016, as a Shadow Minister for Justice. She has since been appointed as a Shadow Minister for Financial Services in 2018 and Shadow Minister for Innovation, Technology, and the Future of Work in 2019. Today, Clare is a Shadow Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services. Prior to jumping into Federal Politics, Clare worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and was mayor for the City of Greater Dandenong.
