real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good real good conserve ladies and gentlemen, hello and welcome to another edition of america's best worst Canadian sports podcast that's right? real good show back out again for episode 75 and episode that's gonna be a big one it's gonna be known for its hulkin size and surprisingly lengthy career really, when you think about the overall skill set this gentleman possessed. I was surprised to learn that this career just ended like two years ago. Justin Morissette with me once again with me as always is.
You gotta give us a start John Cullen. We had an American, born player, sizeable defenseman for hulking size. Mark Eaton, he fought Rick Rippon and lost. Howlgell.
Howlgell. Howlgell. Howlgell. Mr.
Howlgell. His career wasn't very good. He was really bad and he was on the Leafs for a long time. And the Habs?
Yeah. But he was one of those guys that the Leafs brought in being like, yeah. He had a 17-year career. That's insane.
And he was fine. He won a cup, didn't he? I guess so. With Pittsburgh?
Um, maybe he won a couple. Yeah, he was on Pittsburgh in both of the years that they went up against the Schruhe lost and then won. Right, okay. Um, but yeah.
A career that started in 1997 and ended in 2014. That's like very surprising to me. I think he was just a serviceable guy in an era when you couldn't teach the game. Yeah.
If you're a big defenseman, you were valued. So I think that's just it. Because he's what? 7, 6, 5, 6, I'm like that?
6, 5, 6, 7, 2, 5, 6, 7. Yeah. So I mean, no brainer, 6, 10 on skates. We're in a number range at this point where it's slim pick.
It's very slim. We're kind of, we're kind of some good ones. Yeah, except it'll be like 77. We'll be like five amazing players.
That's a better. Yeah, exactly. 88, 9, 97. All the 90s will be good.
Yeah, the 90s are good. Yeah, the list on NHL.com that gives like the best player per number. How good was the runner up? The player that listed was Walt Pudubni.
Okay. Yeah. Great name. Very Polish name.
Walt is a great first name. War 75 in his one season with the Quebec Nordiques in 1988-89. During which he put up 78 goals, or rather 38 goals and 75 points. That earned him a trade to New Jersey where he spent his final three NHL seasons as a part-time player.
By the way, how gills full name is Harold Priestley Gill the third. Nice. Two things about that. It should be Harghill if we're going for shortening the name.
I'm pretty sure that's like East Indian name Harghill. Yeah, and second the three, the third. It's like Roman numeral. So it looks like his last name is Gill-ill.
Gill. And he could have had the three on the back of his jersey and he missed that opportunity. Yeah, that's too bad. Yeah, that would have been sweet.
How did he play that for Roman numeral? Come on. How is Walt Pudubni better than Harghill? Like, yes, he had one 38 goals.
That's how he's better than Harghill. But how Gill have 38 points in his career? Yes, he did. He played 17 years.
Yes, I know. It's better than four. I'm joking. I'm trying to think, I don't think any Roman numeral's wrong in NHL.
We were talking about the NFL, how there's a few. NFL has a few. There was a player who played for New Jersey who just had the most obscenely long game. Oh, here, Luke.
Let's turn it on. Yes. PL3. Yes.
We talked about him on the show. Classic. Yeah. That's a great name.
But no numbers on the back. And he also had a fight that lasted like three minutes. That's what he was kind of known for you. This one fight with, I want to say like Cam Janssen.
Yeah, I think it was Cam Janssen. That's what I had in mind. That was kind of my mind. Yeah, and what turn out was with, yeah.
But that fight. Cam Janssen was a beast. He was a piece of shit as well. Yeah, big time.
He played for New Jersey too. Anyway, that's enough hockey trivia. Yeah, we started last episode like that too. I liked Justin's complete lack of enthusiasm for the opening titles off the top.
He's we just recorded a bonus episode where we watched the movie Labyrinth. And Justin's been a real grumpy Gus about it. This is our three of recording. Yeah, but we've done like six hours a year ago.
I thought it was just that typically we do the normal episode first. That's true. So I think we switched the order up this time. So it'll be interesting to see how this ends up.
I thought that it would be watching a two hour movie second seemed like a bad idea to me. I guess, but technically we watched Russell Matt in a second, but that was only like 75 minutes. Yeah, exactly. It's supposed to work.
And we also knew like that it was going to kind of be pretty amazingly hilarious. Whereas Labyrinth, I don't think any of us knew what to expect. And it wasn't, I mean it was fine. Well, it's like also it's like a half decent movie.
Yeah, like it's a serious movie. But it's a serious movie though. It's not like a 7.4 out of 10 on IMB. I mean, so if you're curious, you can sign up to our Patreon and donate $5 a month or more.
And you'll be able to listen to this Labyrinth episode where I will just say, I went on a rule 34 message board. If you don't know what rule 34 is, it's a rule that if any, here, there's any, there's porn of anything basically. And any character. There's a serious porn.
There's porn. That's rule 34. So I found like a message board for it or like a DeviantArt's now thing that's just for rule 34. So I found a lot of, I mean, there's a lot of stuff.
It was Wikipedia for rule 34 essentially. Yeah. I mean, some of the stuff we found, I'm going to credit you guys. You helped me out there.
I was just actually filthy and disgusting. And I'm kind of mad at myself for just having it on my computer. And in my, because I didn't even do InkoDoodle mode for some stupid reason. Yeah.
I'm really, if you, I'm curious to know what kind of targeted ads are going to show up on like your side panel and Facebook as a result of this. Oh, like duck-sized anal beads. Yeah, exactly. It's not going to be good.
It's a little live overview though. It's in the bottom below. Speaking of figure out the duck-sized anal beads joke. Yeah, don't need to show.
I know it's just. This is, so I'm on the IMDB message board for Labyrinth. And this is good. This is not really that funny.
The topic itself is the, is it weird that I find David Bowie sexy in this movie, which I don't think it's that weird. It seems like he was kind of like a point. But this is my favorite from I'm a Bowie babe is the name of the person responding to this original question. And she writes, I'm 11.
And I also think he's very hot. All capital letters. I missed my generation. So.
Yeah. And she's stuck with like Zane, Alec. Yeah, exactly. But like, I don't understand like I'm 11.
And my IMDB message board name is I'm a Bowie babe. It just seems a little bit. Hey, how do I think she's allowed? There's like, there's like, there's like a lot of girls.
Yeah, I think it's like a lot of girls are going crazy over like one direction. All right. Why do you think they're doing that? I don't know.
I'll make the rules, man. I'm just saying. Because they love the music or because they're just some good looking boys and girls are into that from as early as like seven. What?
Where are you going with it? I'm just saying like 11 years old, having a crush on David Bowie is not that weird. Like, you're talking about seven year olds. What is it?
It's just that girls are into boy bands in that way from a very early age. They might like the music when they're seven. Yeah. Seven I think it's pushing it.
Well, I don't think they're like, I'm not saying they like know what sex is or whatever, but they might want to like cuddle them or whatever. Like, we are this. This is not an area that I want to push. We should probably go into our sponsor content.
Holy Christ. Okay. This is a good one. I'm just saying having a crush on a celebrity when you're 11 years old is not weird.
No, that's fine. Yeah. I mean, but just use it. Seven.
Yeah. Because it starts earlier than 11. Well, okay. Let's I mean, you're the one who's really sticking on this at the moment.
Well, you should see what I stuck on in the bonus episode. Oh my God. Well, this has been a real good show. Thank you.
John Cullen. Okay. I mean, it's about what I'm saying here. Yeah.
I mean, let me say, remember, I, what I'm saying here is I'm saying, you know, I'm just thinking about, I'm just saying, you know, I'm just saying, and I'm just trying to destroy people. Right. I'm just going to say that. I'm just saying, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I'm just saying, I'm just going to say, I'm just going to say that. makes up a scenario where her brother gets kidnapped by the Goblin King so she can deal with her vivid imagination and start growing up in prioritizing. That's definitely the message I got out of the puppet dance sequence that ends the film. Oh, absolutely.
Yeah, doesn't she just embrace her imagination at that point? The imagination is like, hey, if you ever need us, we're always just around the corner. And she's like, actually, I need you all the time. And they have a big dance party.
Yeah, and that's how the movie ends. I think that's more a product of the movie being in the 80s. Possibly. I thought children's movie's on with a big dance musical sequence also.
It's like when I re-watch, sorry, when I watched the Breakfast Club because I had never seen it. And then I watched it like, I don't know, two years ago, maybe. And I was always assuming it was like this big, because obviously you know that like, don't you forget about me, the big musical number. I'm just assuming like, oh, that's just a big, huge part of the movie.
It's the beginning credit song. But you're just thinking like, oh, this is going to be a huge seminal piece of this movie. Everyone talks about this song and this movie and whatever. And yeah, it literally just plays an opening credit.
I figured it was when he throws his arm up, his fist, and rebellion at the end and it frees him. I think it might play again at the end, but it definitely plays in the beginning when the parents are dropping all the kids off at school to go to Saturday detention for some fucking weird reason. I don't know what the message there is if the parents can't forget that that's where the kids are, they need to come back and pick them up. Yeah, absolutely.
I think, yeah. So what other movies ended with like, dance sequences like that? Most cartoon movies. Yeah, most musicals.
Especially most DreamWorks animated films, almost all like big dance. I think, I think, I think, I think, I think, like, five different dance sequences. Thanks, over sure. No one can remember which song was saying.
Mark Little had a great tweet about the difference between DreamWorks and Pixar movies and about how like, the DreamWorks ones are just way more obsessed with songs. So like, that's how you can tell the difference between a Disney, or sorry, a Pixar and a DreamWorks. Also just pop culture references constantly. Yeah, exactly.
And the DreamWorks face. Yeah. Have you seen like that, the photo collage of the DreamWorks ? Yeah, have you seen that, John?
No. DreamWorks. Yeah, let me see here because it's pretty, all of DreamWorks's heroes are like the most smug pieces of shit imaginable. Yeah, DreamWorks face.
Oh my gosh. Like, I guess they put a Cars one in there for some reason. I guess Cars was the most DreamWorks like of all the Pixar movies. Oh, definitely.
Yeah, he says, yeah, DreamWorks movies are great if you like Pixar movies but wish the fantasy creatures knew more about top 40 music. Like if DreamWorks had made Toy Story, there would have been a scene where Woody saved the dinosaur and said, I'm bringing Rexie back. That was like, yeah, that's perfect. What do we have any donors to think?
Well, we're talking a lot about movies here, fellas, of course. Yeah, tickets. Tickets to the movies on Seat Geek, which you can do by tickets to anything else that you might need on everybody's favorite app for buying or selling tickets to sport and events or concerts. Fuck yeah.
I still haven't bought my Run the Jules tickets yet, but I haven't checked the app. Run the Jules Bass. I am checking the app. Run the Jules Bass.
To see how the stock market is fluctuating. Well, I'm pretty sure aren't there just tickets available. Yeah, they're out there. Okay, because when they moved it, there were more tickets.
Yeah, yeah, but before I was looking at the wall, but I sold out. I'm torn now between my desire to see who, an actual, I believe, is putting on one of the best live shows. Run the Jules Bass. Run the Jules Bass.
And my hatred of the worst venue in the city of the city. Oh my god. The P&E Forum is so bad. You know who I've seen at P&E Forum?
Some 41. I saw modest notes there and he may as well have not been singing because you just couldn't hear the worst concert venue in the city actually is. What? Where?
It's the landfill, the city dump, the transfer station. I don't know. I know you couldn't hear the show there. P&E Forum is pretty bad, dude.
Have you been to a show at P&E Forum? I've been to like a hockey game. No, that's not what I'm saying. You're thinking of Pacific Coliseum.
P&E Forum is like an airplane. Yeah. Yeah. Where they keep animals.
The worst original BC place. I saw the Black Eyed Peas performing a great kind of live show. You couldn't hear anything they were saying. I was there with my grandpa.
My dad and my grandpa was just like, what the fuck is this? He didn't say he was a good Christian man. He didn't say that. You know what's super weird?
He must have been so confused at that point in his life. My buddy, Dina Archie, very good comedian is from LA originally and spent splits time between LA and Vancouver. He just showed in LA and Taboo from Black Eyed Peas was randomly there. And he just posted a picture on Instagram of him and Taboo.
This is the weirdest. You know who I'd like an Instagram picture with? Tattoo. I don't think she said that.
I think she said that. I think they're like, man, I don't know. Probably being named to the Trump cabinet. No, I was not.
I don't think. It'd be interesting to read up on them now because realistically, like, I'm not allowed to do their thing. I'll see if Russia, right? That was their whole thing they made on the rain.
They were kind of like lesbian, but not really. Oh, they did a video in 2016. They were kissing in this video. I don't think they live in Russia anymore.
I think they vaguely remember this. Isn't this like something against the Russian anti-gay laws? I have no idea, but this is a... They look exactly the same.
Yeah, they're nice looking ladies. Yeah, so they're just kind of... I don't know what any of this is, but yeah, they're showing a lot of... Well, that's just the old kiss, I think, from the...
Maybe. No, this is all the things she said. Oh, I think she said all the things she said. That's all right.
We're closing on that song. Yeah, well, if Tattoo were to come through town, you would buy tickets across the city. Oh, I would love to buy tickets on the Seakey Mobile app for Tattoo. I can be anywhere, and with just a few taps, I will instantly find the seats that I need for this weekend or any of the games this season that I want to go to where any of the shows is in the case.
They have 758,000 likes on Facebook, and their singer had cancer. Okay, well, that's... I mean, you don't have to save that. How is she doing?
She's fine. She beat cancer. But mistake during surgery. But mistake during surgery damaged her singing voice.
Okay, so this is like... Sounds like she got a really raw deal, but with Seakey, you always get the best deal on every ticket. You can see the same thing. I think it works.
Before you buy it, searching multiple ticket sites. Prices can vary depending on where you shop, but Seakey will always find you the lowest available price. And Seakey wants to help you get the most bang for your buck. That's why every ticket on there is given a grade based on value.

On Saturday night, I will be going to see the Arizona Coyotes play the tip of me later.
Got a prediction here for you. Coming to the RealGoodShow inbox, email, Gmail inbox this week from admin at Seakey.com. Subject, Tattoo Cancer Show. Hey, it was fine.
I mean, she has cancer, but she had it. She just can't sing anymore. No, I didn't say that. Yeah, it says it damaged her.
I didn't say it. It didn't say how much. It's kind of the implication. I didn't say how much.
Well, the advertising people at Seakey may be concerned about where our ads are going, but you don't have to worry about the tickets you buy there because they're guaranteed to be listed. We'll fuck around. Of course it's not. That's a great comedy content. And great value.
Yes. In the sense that they pay us to do it. Yes. So it's great value.
But we like the app is good also. Of course. Of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course.
We're not out here shilling. I don't know if catheters or whatever. Do you think? Okay, this is really shilly cat.
It was good though, but I don't know if I want to try it. Chillin has a podcast. He needs to name his ad segment Kurt Schilling. Yeah.
Kurt's Shilling. Oh, yeah, definitely. We do have one. You suppose when he's relaxing at home he calls it Kurt's chilling.
No, he probably just says I'm just like hanging out at home. That's fucking ridiculous. Why you say that? Because it sounds like his name.
Yeah, but no, but it might make sense because he's doing a podcast. Do you do puns in real life? Kurt's chilling. He's chilling.
Like on the couch, like chillin. You know what? Just go to the Patreon thing. Do you think when Kurt Schilling visits a town or a city in Iowa?
that he ever says like, I'm shilling in Cedar Rapids. I don't get that reference. That's the Hillary Clinton. Yeah.
Is it fine? I mean, it was a speech. All right, you got it on. Yeah, in any case.
Interesting. Do you think his favorite actor is Kurt Reynolds? Is that his birch though? Yeah, but that wasn't, I mean.
Do you suppose that if he was born a hundred years ago in Britain, he would call his coins Kurt's shillings? Do you, what if his fart shilling? What if he goes to the dentist and gets his cavities taking care of? No.
Kurt's filling. Well, that's just Ryan. That's not a pun. Shilling rhymes with so many things.
Kurt's filling. Oh. When he sends his receipts to his accountant, Kurt's filling. Oh, no.
When he's out there farming the fields, Kurt's filling. Kurt's filling. Uh oh. You know what happened when he got Kurt's filling?
Kurt's filling. It hurt the drilling. Uh oh. Did I say fart shilling?
Did I say fart shilling? That's good. That sounds like a kid's song to be aware of going to the dentist or like a kid's book. Little Kurt shilling.
Went to get a filling. Oh my god. I think whenever he's like grinding up like herbs and spices with a mortar and vegetables, everything keeps like Kurt's milling. That's what that sentence didn't even make sense.
Do you ever think he's Kurt's milling? Shut up. Okay. I found one part of this episode that I'm going to enjoy.
One part? Well, probably one good thing. Do you think when he uh pulls up into like a little lint ball and someone's jacket, he's Kurt killing? Oh my god.
He's just turned at us. Did he hear that he did the uh did he hear that he did the mannequin challenge? Was Kurt stealing? Uh did you guys hear that he defrauded the state of Rhode Island of millions of dollars?
No. Yeah he did. He did. He did.
He came to me. Yeah. I'm crying a bit here. Did he get murdered?
If he gets murdered it'll be Kurt's killing? Kurt's killing. I mean yes. I mean I guess technically.
It would have to be. Do you know what his favorite desert accommodation is? What? You're chilling?
Oh my god. When he goes out to the bar? Flirt chilling. Oh definitely flirt chilling.
Okay this is this is an episode. But it was a good run. We have one on on on on when he said it got his barbecue on the 4th of July. He's uh it's burger shilling.
Kind of the kind of trick you guys there. I was gonna say uh Kurt's barbecue. Kurt's barbecue. It's grilling.
Wow that was. Yeah I would say that. Well if he was grilling weiners. I know he's doing burgers.
It could be. Ferts. You know what? Ferts.
Yeah absolutely. Like that's a very common abbreviation for hot dogs. For frat fertors. That's just called a frat.
Just another frat. I'm a regular fert grilling. That's gonna be my. Fert grilling.
Fert grilling. It's like really late night. Second episode of the night. Oh so crying.
The last one. Oh I'm gonna uh this summer that's gonna be my bit. I'm gonna pretend not to know what hot dogs are and only refer them as ferts. John how many hot dogs do you want?
What? What's a hot dog? You know it's like a like a like a sauce I don't know what you're talking about. They show you the package.
Oh Ferts. I'll have two ferts. Look at brother up with some ferts. Two ferts and one jerk please.
Oh alright. I'm crying. I have their tears all over my face. We did.
Oh have you heard that Johnny Cash cover hurts shilling? I mean he made it his own. Like you said the night's male's version and like it's like two different songs. He has the most like rhymeable name possible.
We could be your all night. Oh I got part shilling. That wasn't. I like that we were like oh man we just recorded like an hour and forty minutes watching this movie and we just recorded an episode last Thursday.
What are we going to talk about? Like I will figure it out. Ten minutes of Kurt Schilling on later. Not even Kurt Schilling rhyme time.
Do you know what powers is wristwatch? Quartz Schilling. They revealed the full names of the puppets. It's Bert Schilling and Ernie Sanders.
The second one has nothing to do with that. He's done. Bert Schilling and Ernie Schilling. They're not related.
They're not brothers are they? Ernie Schilling. They're gay lovers. They don't look anything like that.
They're not brothers. They're not even the same skin tone. They're gay lovers. I said let's see what really 34 says.
Bert Schilling and Ernie. That's not Bert. Oh that's not. Oh that's definitely going to be pictures of Bert and Ernie banging each other.
Well this is a classic one. Well I mean that's probably not Kurt Schilling. This is actually the coloring book. Oh my god.
That's actually looks like it's a coloring book. Although you figure if Bert's gay he'd do something about that eyebrow. Well Anthony Daviston he trademarked it. I know but is he gay?
No but he's like a sick he's a bastard. He's a bastard. I don't know if that was part of the room. I don't know if I was part of the room.
I don't know if I was part of the room. Well maybe Ernie likes it though. He's gay men are very attractive and very like. But there's bears or like hairy bears.
Yeah that's true. Yeah that's true. Yeah true. Yeah true.
I'm done with Kurt Schilling. I just wanted to also let you know speaking of names that were recently revealed. The famous of course humanitarian and like UN Canadian famous Lieutenant General. His full name was recently revealed to be Romeo Mustalaire.
That's pretty good actually. Where did you come up with that earlier today? I mean we just had to say it. I mean are we so mustalaire?
Is the well dryer or does it eat some Kurt refill? I think I'm through. I'm through that stretch in my life now. Justin's done with that spurch.
We do have one donor to thank this. We've tried to do that for so long. And it's over. They're never going to.
Let's thank this person right now. First we've got to hear the theme. Oh yes we definitely got to hear the theme. Thank you for donating to the show.
To the show. You work hard for your money that we know. That we know. The segments where we read out all your names.
All your names. Get wrong. Your parents are to blame. Fuck your parents.
And in this case I don't think this guy's parents gave him this name. No. Maybe they did. I suppose it's anything possible.
Anything is possible. Mortimus donated $9.16. What's the significance of that donation? 16 for Linden maybe?
I don't know. I'll look it up. 9.16. It's the area code for Sacramento.
Yeah maybe it's from SACK-Down. Which oh now that is a segment. Sure is. Into Tapper tracker.
I'm joking. Sorry I fucked up a segue. Do you want me to do a segue? Justin what's the segue?
Our clip this week comes to us from SACK-Down. Where Boogie Cousins is being asked quite a lot about what his future holds because he could possibly head elsewhere as a free agent. But of course he's being asked if he'd like to stick around. And he's not shined away from it.
Usually guys, specifically hockey players I think will kind of be like well you know whatever happens happens and I have always enjoyed my time here or whatever. Right yeah it's usually very proper and they never want to rule anything out either. But not the case with the Marcus Cousins Boogie is having all kinds of fun with it. And this is quite simply a great clip that speaks for itself.
Absolutely. Marcus there's a lot of conversation about potential conjurates in this summer. Is this where you want to be? Yeah hello Summer.
So I want to be here. Hey Leland you want me to be here? Can't hear you said a lot of it. I asked you did you want me to be here?
Yeah so no spotlight on you. Hello? No come okay Wendy. Andy would you like me to remain here?
I hit this guy by the phone when I would say for me I would say no. Well guess what? Guess what people I'm here. That's uh that was aggressive.
The guy saying no as well. Yeah that's he's the real star of the show there. But like you don't see his face. Yeah I couldn't tell if he was joking because obviously he's on like a first name basis with Demarcus and like what do you think?
And he's like I would say no. And that kind of sounds like an excellent player. Like you know and it's not like they're talking about trading him for significant assets for time in the future. I mean they've been talking about trading him for everyone.
I mean yeah his name has been in trade talks for like at least two seasons. I want to say thank you to Mortivists again because I didn't actually personally thank you. Yes I feel like he was mortified that you didn't. Are we still doing fun?
I don't know. Don't make a Mortifuss about this. Yeah uh. But that's some serious stones on that reporter to be like.
Honestly it sounded pretty serious. Because he kind of was like well I would normally say no content but sorry no comment. That's the first half hour of the show. In this case I would have to say no.
Yeah exactly that's every show we've ever done. We've done 75 of these fucking things. And it's like over like. Yeah we've done easily over 100 hours of this dumb ass show.
It's great. People listening. Yeah people listen to every single minute. And there's a lot of people recently like starting from the beginning too.
So we'll see them in like maybe a couple months. I do want to say this because we had a guy today who found it was listening in an old episode from like end of 2015 where I think I guess one of us was like well you know if you're listening to this in 2016 whatever and I was like yeah and if you're listening to 2017 go fuck yourself and then he was listening to today and was like oh it's definitely go fuck myself. So if you're listening to this in 2019 suck my dick. He's gonna be single by then and he will want to say.
I mean not. I just assume that's what you were saying. No I'm in a rude way not like a sex. Oh okay.
Like I guess anybody listening to this at any point is technically listening in the future though. No that's true. We're listening now. It's like a Mitch Hedberg joke this is a picture of me when I was younger.
Yeah every picture is of you and you were younger. So yeah I mean hello in the future. I hope it's nice. Oh my god.
I don't know. It's late. It's not even that late. Well you know we've been recording for a while.
We haven't been recording for a while. So there is that. I appreciate you guys doing this. Yeah but we do have a returning segment.
We do have a returning segment. We do have a returning segment. We'll be returning after your travel. We'll be returning after your travel.
This segment is kind of the segue backwards there. Yeah that's fine. So a problem. Way to theme sign.
He's just a con man. He's got a ten dollar raise per hour. If you throw your own employee through a glass. How do you like when he slaps you in a face?
How do you do it? He's a dude yelling at my wife. You guys think this is okay. I have a reputation and I have to protect it and you will destroy it.
I'm leaving. I'm not risking me a barcode. Yeah. No.
since Chris's episode? Yeah, been a while. Because we didn't do one for Ryan. No.
Yeah, Chris's episode. Chris's episode, yeah. So as usual, I will type in John Taffer into Google News. Every so often, and usually nothing comes up.
But this one is January 6th. A bar that was famous from Bar Rescue shut down four months after rebranding. I don't know if it's clear. So it rebranded twice.
So it was originally called the Tonic Lounge. This is in Oregon, I think? Yeah, Willamet. Yeah.
So Willamet is. In Portland? Yeah. Well, Willamet Valley is like, yeah.
OK. Yeah. So it was called the Tonic Lounge. And then John Taffer came along and rebranded it.
And I haven't seen this episode. But this sounds like the worst rebranding I've made. See, it's worse than corporate bar. But it doesn't seem like he necessarily did this rebranding.
No, but he did this one here. This is what I'm talking about. Oh, he did give it that. Yeah, so it was called the Tonic Lounge.
And John Taffer came along and rescued it. And he gave it an apocalypse theme, which I don't know how that would even work. And then he renamed it Panacroom, Colin, caution high volume bar. Sure.
That is not a name. So that's not good. And also, I don't, I mean, because I feel like John has talked about. That's the peer loop eternal bond of Barney.
Well, I feel like John is because he talks about, and I'm sure most bars talk about the whole thing. Oh my god, this is funny. I got to do this afterwards. Caution, dumb sign, rad venue.
So they were so pissed about the rebranding that they put in the marquee caution, dumb sign, rad venue. And the sign is dumb. And you can put this on the blog, I guess, or we'll tweet it. It's just Panacroom.
And then underneath Caution, high volume. And then off to the side, bar. So I don't know if it's Panacroom, bar, caution high volume. Or panic room, caution high volume bar.
Who knows? Bar on the sign, otherwise, I would think that's an escape room. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, like a very loud escape room.
