75: The SCOTUS Decision on LGBT+ Rights

On this episode of the podcast Drs. Abby McElroy and Dane Whitaker of PrideVMC discussed the recent US supreme court decision R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission which found that the Civil Right Act of 1964 provides employment protections for individuals who identify as LGBT+. The case was handed down on June 15 and instantly became a landmark case with a 6-3 decision.
