Hiện nay, hoạt động xuất khẩu của Việt Nam đang đứng top đầu khá nhiều trên thế giới. Trong đó phải kể đến ngành gỗ đạt kim ngạch xuất khẩu là 16,5 tỷ và đứng thứ 2 thế giới trong việc xuất khẩu viên nén gỗ. Xuất khẩu gạo không thay đổi nhiều vẫn giữ vị trí thứ 2 với doanh số 4 tỷ USD và xuất khẩu được 7.000.000 tấn gạo. Đồng hạng 2 chúng ta còn có ngành da giày với kim ngạch là 27 tỷ USD. Đặc biệt nguyên liệu được nhập khẩu để gia công và tái xuất. Còn ngành thủy sản đứng thứ 3 thế giới với tổng kim ngạch đạt 11 tỷ USD.
