In late 2023, Hope Woodard declared to her followers she was going Boysober — no dating, no sex — in effort to break a generational pattern of male-centerenedess. What was intended to be a personal mission to stop being a “generational slut” (her words, not mine!), the internet latched onto the term and Hope accidentally became the face of Gen Z celibacy.
