Joe Palana is a stand up comedian based in Boston, he is also an autism researcher - and on this episode, we discuss the ways in which Joe connects those two aspects of his life. Joe is a quick-witted, hilarious person who I watch perform virtually each week. We dig into Joe’s history as a Harvard alum, how he traveled the country doing stand up comedy, as well as his love of ska, new wave hip hop and jazz. Joe also breaks down his connection to supporting individuals with autism and how his career became caring for this under-researched population.
