Minmin shares some of her favorites, including classic Shanghainese staples like vegetarian chicken (su ji) and braised wheat gluten (kao fu), flavors you’d often find on a Shanghai family table. Maomao talks about how she actually wasn’t a big fan of soy products as a child, but somehow grew to love some tofu-based dishes as she got older.
