A little about our guests. Serafina and Jennifer have been together 7 years, are married and have a 5 ½ year old daughter. We first saw Serafina and Jennifer on Food Fortunes and immediately went to Whole Foods to pick up some delicious wings. Serafina’s friend, Maria, had met Jennifer and told Serafina “I met the person you are going to marry.” Three months later, Serafina and Jennifer met, fell in love and have been together ever since. A little about their business. Serafina is the sales and marketing and financial person and Jennifer has the refined palette and is the creative person. Ruby Rose, Serafina and Jennifer’s daughter, is the official taste tester and chicken finger inspiration for Hip Chick Farms. Both Jennifer and Serafina have a food background – Serafina has produced large scale catered entertainment and fundraising events. Jennifer has spent over 15 years as the Executive Chef for a high net worth family and the private school they own. Serafina and Jennifer are clean food and organic food advocates. They believe that the animal should be raised humanly and cleanly. Their pet peeve is when customers put their product into the microwave. One piece of advice (the nutshell version) Never say no.
