It’s so important to build our lives in a way that constantly gives us joy and pleasure. When you aren’t feeling pleasure in your day to day life, you risk numbing out on short-term dopamine hits that don’t bring us any long-term satisfaction, or you put all of your hopes for pleasure into one thing and just run it into the ground. Spread your pleasure out throughout your life. Stop delaying pleasure for the future and find joy in the moment, whatever you’re doing.
