Good morning, good afternoon, good evening listening to the All Talk Car Podcast, have to get professional hosted by peer writers and join me tonight, use the little stuff I'm always, I'm always, I know, Ross got set by a sweetheart and introduced the guests and then it was, because it's, well, wait, we're here as well. Yeah, so it turns out once, it turns out once. So, look at this dustin' on, heaps of car news, we don't want to do much car news, but I need tonight. We can't do some car, we're gonna talk about some cars.
You know the car podcast, yeah, sometimes on me. Firstly first, couple new car watches, you put your negative foot one of them, oh you look at that now. It's a bit of a Yaris. Big block Yaris.
The GR. The GR. The GR. I just couldn't, I was, I would, but there was just too many boxes of crunty, and that was one of the manuals, which I like, I like, I like growing a manual car.
But it was a manual, and then it was a, basically a three-door hatch. I got kids, I got school run, and let's get out of this. It's just not too hard, it was like, it's not just in the Yaris, since it's in six plates, the GI, it's like the GTI, it's the top of the line, it's for. What's about that, this is, this is a school, it's a molidation rally car.
This is not a Yaris that's been tattered up. This was built, this was built to rice. And it's got, it's got flares at the wheelages for the vehicle. How do I look?
A little thought, the only thing that attracted me was this, the price, which was $39.9, drive away, Australian. So as a watch price, but that didn't come with the optional performance pack. So that'd be a minor? No, no, it's got the LST, front of rear dips, maybe as well, some different types of stuff.
But I thought, you know what, I'll just wait until they're out, and I'll start when you're out. Yeah, there's a few other divisions. Or is it already out? Yeah, there's a few.
It's all on sale, it's two isn't it? It's one up and level two, yeah. Yeah, all different dramas. In pink.
Oh, white, okay, it's not your traditional pinky-o colors. No, but they're just having the boys, and having to drop them off, it's all pick them up. You know, it's raining, they're flip seats, it's kind of... It just didn't, it was really clean, you know, what, I'm not sure, I think it's already on the track.
They're good cars. So, she had to make a good small car, I remember my wife, a year ago. She upgraded from a 68 bootle, and she bought her first new car, it was a Toyota Star. Before they got it to Echo, they're together.
The Star, that thing was rule proof. Like, it's still going, and then they got handed out to her younger sister, and mate, it got bashed and bad, and the thing would still start. It was good, yeah. So, the Harris would be...
So, I did put my own vehicle on, I did get the guy, I did have the chance to secure one, but I just couldn't do it. When you've done it before, you had to go to Echo, yeah, it's all. No, you don't need a kid. I know.
Yeah, I think the back seat never got used. Well, maybe a couple of times, you know, I didn't want to buy a car. No, I didn't want to buy a car. I did get used a few times.
Okay, the shopping itself. Like my phone, and all that, I was podcasting. You should use the put a shopping in the back seat. That's right, yeah.
So, from the other end of the scale, from a 39. It was the four-hour before I sold it. And that's what the suspension went. That suspension came on.
And then from 39.90, we got the other end where it's like 300. Yeah. The pictures of the US class launched, and true to form, Mises in the 2020s, I can use the triogals mate. But that wasn't really proud.
They got that all out. It wasn't the Audi, you know, engineering set. We need triogals. What?
What? My true? Yeah, but the rear end, it's still a road. I don't like it.
The rear end looks like a... This class does not have the B. Looks like a CLS. Yeah, does that.
There's a big motherfucker lights. Not a lot of wheels. No, it didn't work. It's...
I reckon that car is going to get a face lift quicker than the new one, which is next, the M3 and the M4. We'll get to the front, lights look small. Yeah, be out of my way. But apparently with the front lights, they can project images on the road.
Because they're about to hit. Yeah, like crossings or things like that. And apparently it's where they hit up the display, where it basically transposes the map on the road. Yeah, the drivers can't have other people drive their cars.
Well, that's the funny thing. Yeah, everything will filter down. But the interior, do you know what I mean? Yeah, it's got the rear of the rear tank wheels.
A bit based on triangles. But they've got that floating... Yeah, so they're about to... I don't like that stuff, are you?
I don't know. Remember I had the Q8 for a couple of weeks? Yeah. Right?
It was too different. It was too different. It was like... It was like...
It was like... It was like... The fingerprints were everywhere. You got to clean it everywhere.
You got to clean it everywhere. You got to clean it everywhere. You got to clean it everywhere. You got to clean it.
You got to clean it. Yeah. No. No.
I said it last week or the week before, one of our episodes, what I liked about my Audi, was it had a good mix of... It had the virtual copy, and I had it at the full-time. I liked the analogue dials, not digital analogue dials. And I like to...
You get to use your hands. What's the word for it? Dexterity name. No.
You know, like when kids are learning to... With your fingers. Yeah. Yeah.
Kids are going to grow up only knowing how to swipe a tap. Well, my kids already did enough for the grandma in their sleep house. Yeah, but why do you just have to use it? Yeah, I know.
But you're using it so you're still entering buttons in and stuff like that. Now that's something, hey, these, hey, that, hey, the other thing, right, yes, it does come in handy, right? Things like, you know, hey, Google, drop here and stuff like that. It does, right.
It's like, I just said that I don't want to turn it up. Self-fry search. LAUGHTER Like, so am I? Yeah.
There you go. So, yes, there's things that are handy. But you still want a little bit of interaction with your car. And I don't know why it's still a trick stuff, and the hybrids and these things that, yeah, but someone had a go at me on the other day, because it was an article about the Tesla.
Yeah. What happens is all the Tesla fanboys get butt hurt when people point out the obvious that the Tesla's have shit, Bill Coney. Oh, yes. Right?
But they get butt hurt. And this guy's response was, you'll be in heaven with your 72 virgins and you still can't afford a Tesla. Right? What the fuck?
What the fuck? What the fuck? At the end of the day, great car. But as we said in the car, yes.
It's not a twisted car. The normal to your wear off, right? You're only going to want to offer that 70 times, okay? The Bill Coney's crap.
And the cars look nice on that thing. True, right? You don't have to. I mean, even if you pointed it out at a race track, right?
It's the one I saw. It's not that sound. That's what I see here. I mean, I love the Tesla 3.
I enjoyed it and shared out to Gurg. Main of ours, he's also got a Tesla as well. So, he shared out to him. He loves his.
He does it. He commutes. So, I'm not going to do the purpose. I know.
It's going to go, like, if you're a car enthusiast, the Tesla, apart from being a daily driver and a very expensive one with crap, your party, you're not going to get that far ahead. You might as well just go and buy an economic or Mercedes or BMW or Porsche or whatever for $100 or $200. And apart from saving the planet, you're running cosmonically that much different. Yeah.
You can go get a very economical 80 or 100k car that can be through the Tesla 3 in more ways than one. Yeah. Like a P340i. But then if you want a pure economy, right, you could go and get for the size of the Tesla 3.
What is it? A-class? Yeah. A to C.
A to C. A to C. OK. A to C.
Well, you could go get a C200, which is the 1.5 litre engine, which has mild hybrid technology. It's got 48 to 4.6. Right? And, sure, I got a pay for some fuel.
It's not paid for a lot of Trissie. It's not for it. But, yeah, you got to get a walk out car. It'll ride better.
It'll go better. I'd get a C200 demo loaded with Paner roof, everything, for 60k. That's 40k. Forget the acceleration of the Tesla.
You're 40k here. I'm 40k here. I'm not going to get that 40k back. Not in fuel and 40s.
No. Oh, 40k. Don't buy a JR. Yes.
That'll be fine on the trade. True. The Tesla serves a purpose. Not only can be bucked, but when people point out the obvious, that'll look shit.
If I've had a hundred people, I mean, get 100k for a car and the panels don't wind up. But what they've done over 10 years, Tesla, is a remarkable. I mean, they've been at the forefront. Even to now, with their range and the petrol, the battery power, everyone else is still playing catch up.
But yeah, the technology's there, but definitely have to put a car together. And there's probably a million components. There's a million of one things to put a car together. Probably the most complicated is the engine.
I mean, it's so good. I don't know. I still like the thing. They're doing so much amazing work with their batteries and their longevity and the range being increased.
Guys, show a bit of effort into your build quality. All the on-ear updates. They're still leading the pack. I mean, my car does on-ear updates with a nap.
But that's only one thing the whole time. That's right. But, you know, just those little things. You shouldn't be buying a 100k car and the panel gap footwork they got slapped together and have a shop.
I don't know. You know, it's like, what pretty little you get. Mm-hmm. Question without those.
What cost more of service? A Porsche Macarlet or a Mercedes Vito van? Depends if you're a service to your Porsche. Volkswagen, how do you get Porsche?
The Porsche was cheaper than my wife's van. Yeah, but what's cycling out of the van even? Well, the van was 60,000. Yeah, that's probably why it was early-thousand.
It's from my age. Nah, that's nah. Vito van came into 1,800. Yeah.
At 60, it's probably got a few more things getting done. Oh, shot. What did the 60,000 say? What did I do with the engine?
I don't know. But we did the brake side. We did the brake side. I can do the brake side.
No, no, I don't want to do brake. What about? Was it a couple of $3,000? Was it just an oil or?
I don't know. I didn't look at any boys. I just said, well, I don't know. I don't know.
I know. They're probably charging a palm filter $60 or something. Yeah. But the Porsche is not cheap.
I was quite happy. And I got a go to see car from Porsche. I'm a car that's exactly what I'm saying. It was just, I was hoping for something like, I don't know, maybe the big boy KN or something different.
I got the same car without a roof. But anyway, it just was the same car. It is even this morning, Audi has ranged from about, there's never been a 1,000. But it's been an 8,000 diesel.
So these all, I do a lot of Ks with it. And it's averaged around 1,800. These ones are a little bit more than one. Just so it was.
But I was going to do a shot because I was going back to back. Didn't really budget for that. But I mean, I was expecting a pay grant. I haven't offered a pay grant.
I'd expect that much. But I was surprised with the price of the Porsche. I was surprised with the V- I was surprised about the South. It didn't know.
I bit the kids would play sports. I was hanging around in the big park at home, which was 20 years ago that the Olympics were on and everyone's reminiscing. And I was there because we're not allowed to watch the kids play because of COVID. And Sunday morning at 9 o'clock.
But you can take the kids around to watch other people play. I don't know. But do you expect to see a police officer to try to look for the glider zones? Sunday morning at 9 o'clock at the big park?
I don't. But I'd say someone's complaint. You think that's what it is? Sunday morning?
Sunday morning. Sunday. Sunday. Complaints.
Oh, god. You probably have a few. You probably have a few, few hums. He was doing the last exactly.
Obviously he's the one guy. That sounds like there's been, like, they know that there's kids around now. And it looks like people have been, you know, complaining that people are going too fast around there. Because when I did the lap around there, when we left, he then doubled up the other way.
And blew someone else down. So he was on a vicious way. But it's not a quite traffic area at the best of times. Unless it's a major event under roads approach.
I mean, the pedestrians just wander off onto roads because they're complacent that it's not a quite traffic area. And now, yeah, you'd hear him coming unless it's a Tesla. I think I said this before, I've only got another bike every in the car park. The guys were up behind the freaked out that he started laughing because it happens all the time.
Yeah, good response to our last couple of podcasts. We got some feedback with the Maserati. One was the actual one. The Maserati's for sale.
We're getting professional photos done this weekend. Yeah. You know, it's potential. Yeah.
We're going up. We'll be going up for sale. So he was safe. We'll be on a mission on this.
We're not going to buy it. We've got off into us. He did get off into us. Yeah.
No. I mean, it's a nice car park. The room. It's quite like the owner, right?
He'll try it and say, what do you want tomorrow? I said, what do you want tomorrow? I don't want to go to a car wash. No, go to a car wash.
First of the morning. Yeah. Okay. So, I'm going to go to a car wash.
I'm going to go to a car wash. I'm going to cut. He's a car. He's got to see his car.
So I took his car to him. It's in the middle. It's in the middle. It's in the middle.
Four months? No, I'm not that old. I'm not that old. I took the car down.
He paid for it washed. I took it back. So you drive it to the car wash? I drove it to the car wash to him back there.
You got to see it. It's a small set of starts. You know, it's all a set of corners. It didn't catch it.
It was a second bite. It was a second bite. So, I know what's going to happen, right? I know what's going to happen.
This is what happens with every car that comes in. That I store for people. It comes in the car wash. They pretty much forget the cars there.
Yeah. And then it's pretty much like, you know, they end up because they end up getting a new car. Yeah. And it ends up like, you know, so I get adopted red headed kid.
All right. I'll just give it back. Oh, not really. And say, I don't drive this switch.
It's got no red dirt. I've got the red dirt. That's what happened. I don't know.
That was the way before. It was like, was the original one. You know what I mean? You guys, it means the pig's thing.
OK, how old is it? So for those of you who don't know, pig's thing is like, I went where the certificate. You're on the car. The car's over three out of three.
The MRT or the Rachael. It's like, five years old. And he's like, I'm like, I'm like, this year was five. So I simply have a case.
I know. And the bar's are sticky. We'd say that. Wait a minute.
No, they're actually all right. They'll come up all right. And once it was done, it's a tiny place. I don't know what my brother bought through the 6G.
It's fantastic. It's rare. Whatever it is. And I think, I don't know if it went to the same place as the guy you know in Melbourne.
But basically, there's a aftermarket, replaced the milk that rough for the bar's in Ferrari, switch key. And my brother got that done at the fit. It's a really nice car. It's been a bit of time.
It's been a long time. It's a nice car. Now I drive there. I was even though that he'd constantly purposely was drive straight back to his house.
Well, I was wrong about back. And I had an appointment. So I stopped airing. It's not some rules.
I mean, I didn't want to get back with the Ford. It's a really nice car to drive. Right? Yeah.
I was wrong with that. I actually didn't even want to put in the radio on. It's very much like my genius art. But what radio?
It's all in. No, it's just a... I just put it in race mode. I left the car.
I killed it. Did I have a masa rating moment? Did it hit you? Flash?
No, it was all right. It was all right. It's all good. It behaved itself.
It isn't it? I hated itself. We drive there, drive back. But yeah, it's got to go.
Don't even want to go. Cars got to go. Sounds going to be really nice. So it's 7,700 kilometres.
We put some other photos. We've got a good reaction. It's the grand. So we'll talk at outlook.com.au.
We'll deliver it Australian one. Yeah. Unless we're in Victoria. And we'll leave it in the morning.
No, no. We'll leave it in the morning. We'll leave it there. And if you can cross the border, we'll get the keys.
We'll throw the keys up here. Actually, we'll just let it run. We'll jump out while the car. No, we'll put it in neutral.
And then we'll push it. And just glide through the bit. And you're going to have a jump in the car. Look, the window's out.
It's a car. Yeah. We'll just jump the motor. It's like, yeah.
So there you go. And I saw again, my car uses this episode. I saw a new defender on the road. He does that on the street.
Mate, it looked like... What's wrong with this? What kind of a car? It was like a white.
Yeah, I saw a white one. No, he does. Look what it looked like. He had this look like a car that would be on the moon.
Like it looked futuristic. I know if it was because on the driver's side, on the rear window, it had like a case. It had the adventure back. Yeah, hanging out.
I thought, what the fuck? It looked like a suitcase. It looked like you made a Lego car. It's a suitcase.
It's a suitcase. Like, what else can I put this Lego car? That's what it looked like. Then it got my attention.
And I saw what's to go through. It stands out as much blush. Otherwise I won't get for a car. Oh, man.
We'll do the details. We'll do the details. We'll do the details. Right?
Yeah. You're in the bathroom. You had to be lunch. Did you try to calculate what I...
I saw a black guy. Yeah, but I thought... I thought I thought I thought I thought... She's having a school.
I knew that coming out. Yeah. This is not because I don't want to. They're not even from Fridays.
So these were obviously first deliveries. I looked at them and she said, well, sweetie pie. So I looked at the office and had to get in the bathroom. So I got to be great around.
Like, you didn't? And then I got 150 green. And that's when I went... Well, that's what I went back down.
But... What does it start at? 110. 110.
That's how you start taking boxes. These pack that pack. What is... And that kind of packs, does it?
Yeah. Oh, so they've learned. But there's... Yeah, basically...
I don't drive it all the way inside those packs. Yeah. I just... I don't know what...
These are bad bear mind, especially with portion. Like, I mentioned... I was a bush could figure out that. It's a day.
I don't know. Like, I remember reading Portia's response to this, right? Why wasn't Bla's got monitoring standard on it? Okay.
Especially the update. It's not. It's not. Well, we let our customers choose what they need.
You can't be serious. It's standard, you know, 49 on a Kia. Yeah, they want you to experience driving to drive it. It's what?
Yeah, it's a driver's car. But it's basically a standard safety item here. Yeah. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. Not all that drives there. Oh, what do you got there? We drive as a dedicated driver's that are operating.
All right. I understand. All right. So, and it's a massive option because you got to get it with everything.
It's all a pack. That's what I'm saying. What's the defender got that? Is it?
Who's that part of a pack as well? Because I'm more like... I'm more like... I'm more like...
I'm more like... I'm more like... Basically, I was flying very close to the left-seated pack. Yeah.
Right? Right? Well, listen. Actually, I want, if any of our motoring manufacturers are listening, or the Australian guys with their websites, just to the piece tank.
Can someone do a... put a left-seated pack box on your options page? We can just tick up everything that gets included. It's called that.
I'm not going to do it. It's not going to explode. It's not going to explode. It's not going to explode.
It's going to be easy. It's the... I don't know what's called. I was going to tell us next week.
What's that? Yeah, but the fact that... Yeah, tick the... It's just not going to be...
It's more fun. You can tick it yourself. It's more fun. Yeah.
You said the dollar for this kick. Yeah, I was a post-com figure writer tonight. I had a play with Pam Mera. But...
Yeah. Yeah. But they looked all right. They caught my eye and they looked like a futuristic.
Even that's based on an old traditional vehicle. And they really... They've done a good job. They made me forget that it was a great job.
I'm in the market because I'm going to move the audio on later this year early next year. I don't know what I want. There's nothing I really like. So I was going to get something new for the wife.
And because her... So class is going on 10 years now. It's going to be 10 years even, mate. Beautiful cut.
Beautiful cut. You'll go for an hour of 10. Yeah. When we'll go after a great car, split basic safety stuff in it as well.
Right out cruise. This strike. Blind spot monitoring. Laying departure.
It's what I mean. Like I'd get option on some new cars. Yeah. Wearing up that situation where I'd like to move the audio on.
So I looked at the GLA Mercedes. Yeah. I mean, I've been at that. Now all these cars are suffering from COVID packs.
We just walked away. There's a shortage of used cars. And they're basically selling like hotcakes. New cars are...
There's especially the cars that are running out models. I was looking at the $2.3 car. She doesn't look brand new. She's happy with the year old, Dr.
3 years old. I like them the same product because I've got them same design. So you know that this car has a big bash in praying and it's all original. GLA 250, up and car fly and all that.
And also a cool rig. And we've just been sitting there taking a full country getting back on to see how it's going. I don't think it's going to be a Ford C. What was going to happen?
Well, some of these cars are like 24%. Yeah, it's a lot. And that's pretty much it. It's no stock.
The GLA was 40, 42, three or six months ago. Now you're going to 40, 50. A C250, 17, 18, was 45, 47, now 55. Yeah.
So now it's like... Well, you know some classic cars are creeping. I'm just going to wait for 2021. That is like 17, 18 miles per year old.
And there's dealers that are pushing up the same car. About six months ago, I saw... I just went through Japanese phase 80s, 90s cars. There was at least a 300 ZX 50th anniversary.
You have the square ones with the Star Wars dash. Yep. It's got like 20,000 Ks. It looks like it's brand new.
And they wanted 44 at six months ago. So now it's 75. Yeah. The same day.
Those cars are like a lot of things from different eras. They're... It gets to a point where they're boy more dreams. Oh, I feel they want to see two-year days.
So what they're looking for then is the emotional tax. Yeah, you're right. It's got to be one-day one of those. Or I had one-day one.
I had one-day one. I had a junior near the dash. Yeah. It's freaked out.
But excited a couple of things, 9-6-8. My 9-6-8's going to be back on the road. The Eurove got polished, ready for summer. So that's going to come out.
And come over next week, we'll be invited to the F3 and 4 launch. That mask is going to be that bad. We'll be able to have big war. And I said, no, I'm not in black.
You look like an ostrich. We've been wanting to be positive. Yeah. What is it?
Cash for coming? Yeah. No. No.
We are not wheels back. I was told that it's wheels not be bought. No, we were not going to be bored. But I was told that we were pretty pretty.
Did you see that? Like the launch on the internet had the green and gold. Yeah. Like for Australia, that was that was dead.
Right. Look, there's a lot of red on the front. There's a lot of red on the front. Look at this.
Fresh cars. So I want to see you in the flesh. I'm not going to make any comments on those nostrils. I'm going to say the flesh.
Sorry. But as I'm talking about with the 3-2's first came out, I made fun of Lexus back lights. And now that I've seen a couple on the road, I have two. I know.
I can't. I can't. I know. But let's see the 3-4 next year where you get the flesh.
Like before we pass it on to us. Right. It's like T-the-man. You're looking at a girl there.
Let's see. Let's meet in real life to see what she's really exciting. You know how they always end up going down to the office? You know, you're a swagger.
You know, I keep my eyes really care about you. Well, all those websites. I mean, I was about to sell a grinder. I was waiting for a girl to come up for ages.
No. Should we bring a cop? No, don't go. No, don't go.
It's all right. It's waiting. But anyway, so we went to see next week at BMW what they come up with. But to sit down, whichever one has to sit down, it's going to be different to the usual cocktail fair.
And some of us will be podcasting next week from BMW and we chat to some of their, probably Brad and Join us and talk about the M3 and 4. So I can't wait for that. We'll also have the bus. I post on Instagram and it did work.
Yeah, 2G for this. Yeah, someone bit smaller than us had the bus. Had the bus and it returned. So we've been to it, like we've got to organise it, the podcast out of the bus.
So I'm excited about that. I haven't been able to photograph it coming on the next week. Yes, well, we'll book that. It will happen.
You're right again, talking about what's going to happen. No, the photographer's booking. So that will be Gary in the next day. So the next day.
So a few more guests coming up. And so just email us. If you've got any questions or any ideas, all talk at LTLRQUE.com.com.au. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, we post them in our head.
If you're listening to us, you've downloaded us. We ran us and review us. Like I said, we back up the charts. Send us some questions.
Send them through. Get us up and slide into our DMs. Even if you want to shout out, I might be one of my staff asked for a company car today. And we said no.
Bad luck. And my, not my wife listens. My niece does. She doesn't actually get a new car.
It's single-law. It's been built and it hasn't. No, she just picked it up yet from Germany. Oh, no.
So, hopefully it'll come by Christmas with the ribbon. So more to come on that. So, again, thank you for listening and we'll talk to you next week. Bye for now.
