In this week's episode I discuss the Ancient Greek Festival of Anthesteria. This holiday would have been celebrated in ancient Athens and is held each year on the 11-13th day of the lunar month Anthesterion, this year (2025) Anthesteria falls between February 10th-12th. Its an important Dionysian festival that has many chthonic roots. We go through each part of the three day holiday including the occult symbolism behind it.
