Often, what's holding us back is the courage to stand alone and do what's right based on who we are and where we want to go. In the blue-collar workforce, it's far too easy to be influenced by those around us who aren't interested in going where we want to go. I can tell you this. Just as average people want you to remain average just like them, exceptional people want to help you become exceptional.
