In this episode I interview Jill Magoffin. She is a birth and postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, new parent educator, author of two children's books. We chat about her personal experience with 2 hospital caesarean births. She shares about the lack of education and choice she was given at that time. While supporting a friend in labor, she first heard the term doula... The rest is history, she quit her job and became a doula - and has since added many other titles as well. She shares in this episode about all of the ways in which women are not given informed consent or made aware of all of their options in pregnancy and in birth.
