But if you were a nurse, well, my heart goes out to you. Did you know? since 2020...   Many nurses left the profession due to stress, burnout, and poor working conditions. Workplace violence and aggression increased, particularly in hospitals and ER settings.Some nurses experienced pay cuts or wage stagnation, despite the increased demand for their work.And the pandemic intensified factors such as burnout, depression, anxiety, and substance use among nurses, all of which are associated with an increased risk of suicide. That's why I wanted to hear from an insider, a nurse in the hospital system who continues to fight on a daily basis for patient's rights, medical freedom, informed consent and more. Join me for this enlightening conversation with Nurse Nicole.
