Dear Parents, We’re going to have a great upcoming week. Below is a short description of what’s coming up and important links and/or announcements: Watch these announcements on video here. Mr. Gray’s Class Podcast No School Monday, February 15th Read Across America Day March 2nd Reader’s Workshop The kids will continue  our unit on Deep Study of Character. Next week we will look at how the setting affects characters and vice versa. Writer’s Workshop The kids will work on and publish their third of 3 literary essays. If you haven’t yet discussed their literary essays with them, please do. There is some great analysis happening in our class. Math Math Answers and Help Here What happened to math class? We will begin our next unit on Rational Numbers. We will start next week by looking at both positive and negative numbers on a number line. We will also study the absolute value of numbers. History The kids will continue studying Ancient China! Science The kids will work with Miss Stevens in science lab. Thank you, Mr. Gray
