Sunny survived a wrongful conviction, leading to 17 years of imprisonment, five of which were spent in solitary confinement under a sentence of death. Sunny and her husband Peter Pringle, who was also exoneree and death row survivor, established The Sunny Center to help other Exonerees through the difficult process of building new lives after being released from prison. Together, they helped these people process their trauma and move forward with the next steps of their healing.In this episode, we will hear an article written by Sunny for The View Magazine, talking about her experience and dedicated work.
