79. Clear out the Clutter

from Self-Created · host Self-Created Podcast

Holiday season is in full swing and due to family, marketing, and media, you may feel the pull to have a partner during this time (Google “Cuffing Season”). In this episode, Jernell and Shanika dissect when the difference between being content and when you are settling and why it is ok to take a break from your partner (or family!) during the holidays. Shanika talks about possibly being open to marriage again (say wha?) and Jernell explains why she is taking a break from the dating apps (for now) and how this leads to Shanika taking herself on a Solo Date. We also discuss clearing out the clutter, complacency, and comparison. This time of the year also brings a lot of “last quarter let’s get it attitude” and sometimes this can set you up for failure. Last but not least, Shanika got a new Tarot Deck (Disney Villiain Tarot Deck) and did a one card reading for Jernell.
