79: Lessons From A Global Pandemic

from The Speak Easy Podcast · host Jen Estill and Karen Stefl — creative studio entrepreneurs, brand and video experts, boss ladies, moms

The pandemic has swept through our lives and almost universally changed everything. While we will be living among COVID-19 for the foreseeable future, we’ve already started sorting through the rubble to evaluate what's happened, how we’ve coped, and how we’ll move on. Like any major life event, there are lessons to be learned along the way. For business owners and parents right now, there are a few central themes among these lessons: balancing work and home life, streamlining processes, and working remotely. Still, on top of these obvious threads, there are a few surprise areas in which we’ve grown too. We’ve learned a lot about our work, but we’ve learned even more about ourselves. This episode, we review what we’ve learned from the pandemic (good and bad), as well as the innovative solutions we turned to that we never would’ve previously considered.
