Dr. Gia Sison is the head of Women’s Wellness Center at Makati Medical Center.  She is a doctor specializing in Occupational Medicine and is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas. She is also a breast cancer survivor and advocate, serving as the Philippine Leader for Livestrong Foundation.  Her blog, Sand and Stone is all about the concept of – you mark things you want to remember in stone and write those you want to forget on sand to be washed away forever.  It is her personal blog that contains lessons she has learned from her battles and victories as well that left scars that she considers “trophies” in life. Dr. Gia shares the moments where she was able to surpass herself and build confidence along the way.  She also shares about being diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago and the lessons she learned during her journey.
