7@7 #128: Trying Times from Temporal Authority 3

Are you driven for revenge? Do you ever crave conflict? (Dan. 8: 5-8) Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez discusses Trying Times experienced under Temporal Authority. Daniel sees a gliding goat rushing into conflict with the ram. The goat represents Greece and Alexander the Great. Greece was driven by reprisal. Greece sought revenge against Persia for earlier attacks. We too can be consumed by revenge. We must restrain our desires to avenge ourselves. We must trust in the justice of God. Dr. Andrew Marquez is Director/Dean of Wayland Baptist University's Arizona Campuses (www.wbu.edu/arizona) and Executive Pastor of North Swan Baptist Church (www.northswanbaptist.com).
