7@7 #136: Timely Intercession 2

Do you confess your sins to God? Do you confess the sins of your nation? Do you agree with God's judgments and punishments? (Dan. 9:4-12) Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez explores Daniel's prayer of confession. As the time for Israel's punishment comes to an end, Daniel begins his prayer by confessing his and the nation's sins. He accuses himself before God. He affirms God's righteous judgment. He affirms God's mercy. Let our prayers follow the model set by Daniel. Dr. Andrew Marquez is Director/Dean of Wayland Baptist University's Arizona Campuses (www.wbu.edu/arizona) and Pastor of North Swan Baptist Church (www.northswanbaptist.com).
