7@7 #137: Timely Intercession 3

Are you aware of your covenantal relationship with God? Do you recognize your situation in light of God’s covenant? (Dan. 9:13-15) Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez considers the covenantal aspects of Daniel's prayer for Israel. Even as God had proved the covenantal curses to Israel, Daniel calls upon God to restore the promised blessings. Christians today stand in covenant relationship with God instituted by the blood of Christ. Will your actions anticipate covenantal blessings or punishments? Dr. Andrew Marquez is Director/Dean of Wayland Baptist University's Arizona Campuses (www.wbu.edu/arizona) and Pastor of North Swan Baptist Church (www.northswanbaptist.com).
