7k Picks-Maxx Stays a Raider
from Fresh Take Network Hosted by FTN
Nick and Josh break down the chaotic Maxx Crosby situation after the blockbuster deal that would have sent the star pass rusher from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens suddenly collapsed. The trade was originally agreed to for two first-round picks, but Baltimore ultimately backed out after medical concerns reportedly came up during Crosby’s physical. The guys dive into the fallout from the league’s biggest almost-trade of the offseason: what it means for the Raiders after they had already begun reshaping their roster expecting Crosby to be gone, how the Ravens now scramble to fix a pass rush that badly needed help, and whether another contender could jump back into the Crosby sweepstakes. They also debate the trust issues this creates between front offices, what this says about Crosby’s future in Vegas, and how the ripple effects could shape the rest of NFL free agency.
