原文曲池荷【唐】卢照邻浮香绕曲岸，圆影覆华池。常恐秋风早，飘零君不知。注释1浮香：荷花的香气。2曲岸：曲折的堤岸。3圆影：指圆圆的荷叶。4华池：对池塘的美称。5常恐：经常担心。解析《曲池荷》的前两句写的是花好月圆，而后两句突然转写荷花的凋零飘落，借咏荷以抒发其一生怀才不遇的忧伤与感慨。“浮香绕曲岸，圆影覆华池”，月光笼罩着充满香气的荷池，好美呀！大意芳香飘荡，环绕着曲折的池岸；圆叶照水，覆盖了美丽的池塘。常常担心秋风来得太早，百花凋零，而你却不知不晓。
