Hour one of Truth In The Afternoon with Dr. Ken Harris begins with a controversial question: His misunderstanding of the controversy and outrage behind star actor Sydney Sweeney’s recent American Eagle commercial which has drawn criticism for promoting eugenics, along with other celebrities and fans speaking out on the commercials tone deaf nature. Dr. Ken speaks on the hypocrisy and disdain for the ad coming from our own community with mentions of Beyonce and other marketing campaigns that fell flat on their faces. With the violence happening right in Dr. Ken’s backyard of Milwaukee, he questions why the concern is focused on Sydney Sweeney when other glaring problems are staring the world and our city in the face.
